About add page numbers
This adds page numbers wherever you want them — bottom centre, either corner, or along the top. You can use plain numbers, "Page 3", or "Page 3 of 12".
Numbering can start from any value, which matters when the document is one chapter of something larger and needs to continue from where the previous part ended.
The numbers are drawn into the page, so they print and stay in place when the PDF is opened anywhere.
Questions about add page numbers
Can I start numbering at something other than 1?
Yes. Set "Start numbering at" to any value — useful when the document continues from an earlier part.
Can I skip the cover page?
Not in one pass. Split the cover off, number the rest starting at 2, then merge the cover back on.
