About pdf to jpg/png
This saves each PDF page as a picture — PNG for the sharpest result, JPEG for the smallest file. You choose the resolution, from 36 DPI for a quick thumbnail up to 400 DPI for print.
Useful when you need a page as an image rather than a document: pasting a diagram into a slide deck, posting a page to social media, attaching proof of payment in a chat app, or sending something to a service that will not accept PDFs.
Multiple pages come back as a single zip. If you select just one page, you get the image directly.
Questions about pdf to jpg/png
What resolution should I choose?
150 DPI is right for viewing on screen and is the default. Use 300 DPI or more if the image will be printed. Lower values such as 72 DPI keep the file small for web use.
PNG or JPEG?
PNG is lossless and keeps text edges crisp, so it is better for pages of text and diagrams. JPEG produces much smaller files and suits pages that are mostly photographs.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Enter the pages you want in the Pages box, for example 1-3, 7. Leave it blank for the whole document.
