Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into a single file, in the order you choose.

Processed and handed straight back. Nothing is written to disk.

About merge pdf

Merging combines several PDFs into one file, in whatever order you choose. Drag your files in, use the arrows to reorder them, and the pages are joined end to end — page one of the second file follows the last page of the first.

Nothing is re-encoded. Text stays selectable, images keep their original quality, and any bookmarks or links inside each file survive the join. That matters when you are combining scanned receipts with a typed cover letter and want both to still look right.

Common uses: putting a contract and its annexures into one document, combining bank statements for a visa or loan application, or joining separately scanned pages back into a single file.

Questions about merge pdf

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

You can merge up to 50 files at a time, with a combined size of 200 MB. If you have more than that, merge them in batches and then merge the results.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?

No. The pages are copied across as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable and images are not recompressed.

Can I change the order of the files?

Yes. After adding your files, use the up and down arrows next to each one. They are merged top to bottom in the order shown.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Remove the password first with the Unlock tool, then merge the result.
